Announcing Full Schedule and Social Events

Our Portland conference is just two weeks away and we hope you’re getting excited!

The conference is officially sold out, thank you to everyone who registered and we look forward to see you soon.

We always try to over-document the conference for our attendees. Our Welcome Wagon guide is full of information about the conference, and we recommend that you check it out!

Full Presentation Schedule

Our website is now updated with the final schedule for the presentations, so you can start planning your time at the conference.

Next week we will publish the timeslots for the unconference sessions as well as a preliminary list of Writing Day projects that you can hack on. If you have a project you’d like to promote, feel free to reply to this email and we’ll get it added.

You can still sign up for unconference sessions and lightning talks during the conference, or bring your own Writing Day project. We’re just hoping to give folks an idea in advance of a few of the things that will be happening.

Workshops Almost Full

The response to the new workshops has been great and we’re nearly at full occupancy for both workshops. If you’re still on the fence, don’t wait to secure your spot.

You can still grab the last tickets for the workshops on our ticket website.

Social Events

This year our main social event will be held again at the Jackknife at 614 SW 11th Ave, on Monday evening from 7pm. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

We’re also happy to invite you to an after-conference social sponsored by our friends at New Relic. The social will be at New Relic at 111 SW 5th Ave, #2700, 27th floor, from 6:30pm. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. It will be done in conjunction with the Portland meetup, and open to the public.

And lastly, the Saturday hike is now full. We are likely to split the hike up into multiple groups in order to preserve the logistics on the trail, but they will leave within 30 minutes of each other, so it shouldn’t impact planning.

Thanks to Our Sponsors

Every year we are fortunate to have the support of our communities and organizations, which help to keep our ticket prices low, the value to attendees high, and enable us to offer scholarship tickets to increase diversity.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors of this year’s Portland conference:

See you all soon in Portland!
