Schedule¶
Write the Docs is more than a conference. Each year we organize a wide range of events so that people can come together, collaborate, and learn from each other in different ways.
Saturday, September 14¶
Boat Ride¶
The only event scheduled on Saturday is the Prague Boat Ride. If you get into town early, join us and experience Prague from the water.

- When: 13:45 boarding, boat leaves promptly at 14:00, two-hour cruise will end at 16:00

Sunday, September 15¶
The Writing Day and Welcome Reception will be held at the Auto Klub, Opletalova 29, Prague.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as snacks and drinks all day.
Writing Day¶

Reception¶
We encourage everyone to drop by on Sunday evening for the conference reception. You’ll have a chance to get acquainted with each other over some drinks and snacks. We’ll also help groups organize dinner plans, so you can continue your conversations over more substantial food as well.

Welcome Wagon: Write the Docs Introduction¶
Join us for an informal introduction to Write the Docs, to the Welcome Wagon, and to other first-time conference attendees. We’ll pass on some information about the conference specifically for first-timers and give everyone a chance to meet someone new before we join the opening reception.

Welcome Wagon: Venue Tour¶
Come on a short tour of the venue with a veteran Write the Docs attendee so you’ll know where everything is and everything you can take part in.

Monday, September 16¶
This is the main event! Hear from lots of interesting folks about all things documentation. We will have talks all day on the main stage, and a unconference session running in parallel in the afternoon.

If you missed the tour on Sunday evening, we’ll be re-running it on Monday.

The official Write the Docs social!
This event is for conference attendees only. Please bring your wristband or badge to be let into the venue. Light snacks and drinks are included while our tab lasts. Full-service dinner will not be provided.
