Writing Day projects

For best visibility, submit your project by August 17, 2026 and we’ll include it in our email and on social before the conference. Online project submission is recommended but optional. You’re always welcome to introduce a project day of.

New this year, we’re also running Roundtable Discussions: pre-scheduled, facilitated afternoon conversations on focused topics, which might include AI in documentation and API docs. All are welcome!

How do I participate in the conference?

There are a number of ways to engage in the conference. You can contribute to a Writing Day project, listen to Speaker Talks, facilitate an Unconference session, give a Lightning Talk, or chat with our Sponsors!

Welcome Reception and Night Social

We have two evening events this year. On Sunday we’re hosting a Welcome Reception at bUm Berlin from 17:00-19:00 CEST, right after Writing Day. On Monday evening we’re hosting an off-site social at Straßenbräu Ausschank 2 from 19:00-21:00 CEST. Drinks and snacks are provided at both events, with non-alcoholic options available.

T-shirts

The Write the Docs Berlin 2026 T-shirt Shop is open! We’re doing a mail order shop so people can order the exact shirt they want. Shipping is available from the USA or Europe, so we recommend ordering at least 2-3 weeks in advance if you want to wear yours at the conference.
